About Us
What is WowHumor?
WowHumor was created for the purpose of storing a database of funny images for the World of Warcraft player to come along and be entertained. WowHumor is actually based off another site with the same concept but for a different game (RSHumor.net, a RuneScape Image Database).
WowHumor hosts all kinds of WoW-related images from photoshopped photos to funny in-game chat conversations and even forum posts. We believe that our users are the most important part of the site because, without them, we would have no images at all.
WowHumor is optimised for Mozilla Firefox, although we test our pages for support in Internet Explorer, Opera, as well as Safari. We try our best at making the site compatible with all browsers, but viewers with older browsers (like IE6, or Firefox 1) may experience problems.
The Team
Joshua (~Psychotic~) <Webmaster/Designer>
Joshua is the co-founder for WowHumor and the primary website designer. He manages the Content Management System and has experience in XHTML and CSS coding. Joshua is the team’s perfectionist, if it’s out-of-place, he’ll fix it. If it’s unorganised, he’ll move it.
Joshua has been a gamer since around the age of 3, gaming on one of the old (but classic) Nintendo Entertainment Systems way back in 1994, as well as the classic Windows 95 computer systems. Since then he has expanded his interests more towards PC gaming FPS and RPG games. He is also a design student and has plans to become a 3D Designer.
Online he’s commonly known as ~Psychotic~ and Mr. Tastix, on World of Warcraft he’s known as Xanwryn and he plays mostly on the realm of Moon Guard (RP-PvE). He plays on a Draenei Paladin but also has many alts. He has been playing World of Warcraft since August 2008.
Dylan (Majinbuu1023) <Webmaster/Content Developer>
Dylan is the other co-founder for WowHumor. He’s been gaming since around the age of 4 or 5 when his family got their first computer, which was a 500MHz Celeron with 256MB RAM and a 20GB hard-drive. When he was around 7 or 8 his family got an Xbox which he played but much preferred PC gaming and has since continued to play PC games.
Dylan has always been interested in websites and computers since he was first introduced to them and he now currently plays World of Warcraft, he’s been playing since around March 2007 and plays a Blood Elf Rogue on Barthilas (PvP) and a Human Death Knight on Moon guard (RP-PvE).
