…and a Happy New Year! [Updated]
Unlike WowHumor’s birthday (that was November 29th, by the way!) I’m not forgetting this one!
We here at WowHumor would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Hanuka, or any other religious or traditional holiday that your family and friends celebrate. And when the New Year comes round, try not to get too pissed. Trust me, playing WoW is extremely hard when you’re drunk
Summer Holidays (or Winter, depending on where you live) is a rather “busy” time. Busy in that most of us are either lazing out at home in front of a cozy fire to get away from the snow or down at the beach enjoying the sun while it lasts. Since I may not get to post again allow me to post my own New Year’s revolutions for WowHumor.
- Fix the image uploader. This has been a thorn in my side for far too long and so I shall either fix the damn thing or replace it entirely. I apologise to those who have sent us images (and some of you have) because we simply cannot see them, the form doesn’t work
- Redo the layout. A redesign of our current layout is quite possible next year depending on my own inspiration. In any case, certain features of the new one would be nice to have touched up such as where the random image is sitting right now.
- Add more images! This is our biggest issue and it’s one I take full responsibility for. WowHumor is a almost a year and one month old now and we only have just over a hundred images. To those of you who check back on a regular basis, we love you guys. For the rest of this year, as well as next, I will be working extra hard to get hundreds more images by this time next year. I feel 500-1,000 images is an extremely realistic number, so let’s see if I can pull it off!
Update: I’ve “fixed” the submission uploader. It seems that none of our server’s default e-mail software wants to show the messages but something Microsoft developed does (yes, ironic, I know!).
Well that’s it from me for now. So tell me, dear reader, how has your holidays been so far and do you have any New Year’s revolutions?
